DESIRE is an e-commerce brand offering mood-enhancing and wellness products designed to elevate both energy and intimacy. The brand embodies elegance and emotion, capturing sophistication while creating an inviting presence that feels luxurious, intimate, and approachable.

Understanding the Need

The project required packaging design that could communicate sophistication and emotional resonance without being too explicit. DESIRE needed packaging that would stand out in a wellness and lifestyle market where competitors often looked too medical, too clinical, or overly suggestive. The goal was to create packaging that reflects luxury and intimacy while remaining tasteful, trustworthy, and approachable.

Crafting the Creative Direction

From the beginning, the creative direction focused on balancing elegance with emotional allure. I aimed to design packaging that felt visually indulgent, aspirational, and intimate, without becoming vulgar or unattainable. Refined typography, rich colors, and subtle detailing became the foundation of this approach.

The Challenge

The main challenge was finding the right tone. The packaging had to evoke attraction and passion without leaning into clichés of sensuality. It needed to look premium but warm, sophisticated yet approachable, and ensure readability and impact whether viewed in-person or online.

Finding the Solution

I developed a refined wordmark and supporting design system that merged grace with clarity. The packaging incorporated intentional minimalism where every element—color, typography, and composition—was chosen to convey elegance and intimacy. The layouts emphasized balance, clean structure, and subtle accents to reinforce the brand’s luxurious tone.

Every decision in the process reinforced DESIRE’s emotional yet refined essence:
