Pathly is a gamified career discovery platform that helps students explore real-world professions through interactive, challenge-based learning. The branding is designed to look bold, modern, and future-focused—perfectly fit for Gen Z learners.
Understanding the Need
Pathly reached out to me to build their brand identity from scratch. Since they didn’t have an existing foundation, I knew the project wasn’t just about design but also about strategy. I studied their vision, values, and audience to figure out what makes them unique.
The main goal was clear: create a brand that feels confident, trustworthy, and ready for the future.
Crafting the Creative Direction
From the start, I kept things simple, upfront, and direct. The design had to be clear and easy to connect with, but at the same time modern and memorable.
I leaned into sleek typography, a clean layout, and visuals that show growth and movement. This gave Pathly a professional but approachable look that clicks with their audience.
The Challenge
Since Pathly is new, there wasn’t much audience data or competitor benchmarks to work with. That made positioning tricky because there wasn’t a clear standard to compare with.
This pushed me to think outside the box and look at similar industries for inspiration.
Finding the Solution
I studied brands from parallel industries that target the same type of audience. From there, I learned what design cues and tones connect well. I then adapted those insights to fit Pathly’s personality and mission.
This way, the identity stayed original and aligned with what the brand really stands for.
The Design Process

Typography: Clean, modern fonts for clarity and professionalism.
Colors: Sleek and grounded palette but flexible for future use.
Logo: Simple and modern mark with its own character.
Visual System: Adaptable layouts that keep everything consistent.

The final identity came out sleek, modern, and polished—exactly what Pathly needed. It now feels:
